Psychotherapy can sometimes be a scary word, but it is what I do. My therapy approach is client-centered, solution-focused, and holistic with a healthy dose of positive psychology. What does this mean? It simply means that there is a therapeutic alliance between therapist and client. That we decide together what is best for you. That we focus finding the best solution to remove the barriers that you are facing. That sometimes it’s important to consider all pillars of health. And that the environment is created to support your strengths. Yeah, sure sometimes we need to talk about the past in order to acknowledge where you’ve been so we can get a clear vision of where you need to go, but the focus will always be on getting you to a healthier you!
Logistics Therapy is the only service that insurance will pay for and currently I am only accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield and private pay clients. If you are concerned that your insurance is not accepted or how to pay for services, give me a call and let’s chat! I work with individuals, couples, and families (clients must be over the age of 10 years old.) I also have an emphasis in trauma and yoga therapy. Yoga-therapy is a done using a combination of mindfulness, yoga poses, meditation, and psychotherapy techniques. It has been found to be very effective, especially in working through trauma.
